The Texas Forensic Association offers a variety of competitive events. There truly is an event for everyone! Events can be divided up into three primary categories: Debate, Platform Events, and Oral Interpretation. Debate provides a series of debate styles that allow students to engage in research and argumentation on a wide variety of topics. Platform events are driven by public speaking and research skills, where students may speak on current events or a topic of their own choice.
